monkey see. monkey do.

Monday, September 30

**warning: it's basically finals week here at WPI.. therefore blogs will either be
- bitchy and bitter
- incredibly funny as a form of stress relief
- totally incoherent
- non-existant

hopefully it'll be one of the top three. i got buttloads to do.

- i just started my mg2950 research paper of the regulation of Digital Television (if you've got an opinion on the topic, or more importantly, know where i could find some good info.. email me and hook me up)
- gotta do a presentation on the research paper i just started next week
- our ce3020 term project big part is due on friday, and loose ends tied by monday
- apparently we've gotten diff eq's proj #2. I haven't seen it yet, don't know what it's about, or when it's due. not cool.
- all you're regular daily pass in crap
- 2 finals, one final essay

in other more fun less stressful news:
- i'm a green! we went to some cracked out 'laughter in leadership conference' thing at holy cross today. the fun part of the day was the 'discover your personality type' workshop. had fun with some cool people, made a huge paper airplane which Tofer (blue) made "ideal" for us... basically being green means I'm: analytical, global, conceptual, cool, calm, collected, inventive, logical, perfectionist, abstract, hypothetical, investigative.
at work: i am conceptual and an independent thinker. For me, work is play. I am drawn to a constant challenge in career, and like to develop models, explore ideas, or build systems to satisfy my need to deal with things innovatively. Once I have perfected an idea, I prefer to move on, leaving the project to be maintained and supported by others.
in love: i prefer to let my head rule my heart. I dislike repetition, so it is difficult for me to continuously express feelings. I believe that once feelings are stated, they are obvious to a partner. I am uneasy when my emotions control me. I want to establish a relationship, leave it to maintain itself, and turn my energies back to my career.
in childhood: I appeared to be older than my years and focused on my greatest interests, achieving in subjects that were mentally stimulating. I was impatient with drill and routine, questioned authority, and found it necessary to respect teachers before I could learn from them.

- also, jenn and i are still looking for two guys to go see Red Dragon with us over break. Free Moose Ears!!
basically the deal is:
- you can't scream louder or in a high pitch voice than either of us might
- you can't mind someone grabbing on to you. repeatedly. and possibly not letting go the whole movie.
- you're not allowed to leave the theatre while the movies on.

we say One Hour Photo the other night... and that was freaky enough with just the two of us... red dragon is going to be way freakier.. but we really want to see it. so yeah :)
